    Prohibited Behaviours

    Behaviours that are strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action

    Zero Tolerance Behaviours

    Physical, sexual, emotional, or psychological abuse
    Neglect or abandonment of participants
    Discrimination based on any protected characteristic
    Breach of confidentiality or privacy
    Financial exploitation or theft
    Inappropriate use of restrictive practices
    Substance abuse that affects work performance
    Any criminal activity

    Reporting Process

    How to report concerns about code of conduct violations

    Immediate Safety

    If there is immediate danger, call emergency services (000) first

    Internal Reporting

    Report concerns to your supervisor or management immediately

    Documentation

    Complete an incident report with all relevant details

    External Reporting

    Report to NDIS Commission if required within 24 hours

    Follow-up

    Participate in investigation and follow-up processes as required
