NDIS Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
Evidence-based NDIS Positive Behaviour Support with a whole-person approach that enhances quality of life while addressing behaviours of concern.
About NDIS Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

At Influential Growth, our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services take a whole-person approach that is practical, evidence-based, and deeply respectful of each individual's story.
We design individualised, person-centred Behaviour Support Plans that meet all NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements and relevant state legislation. Our focus is always on enhancing quality of life, strengthening relationships, and supporting meaningful participation so that every person we work with can move closer to their goals.
Our practitioners begin with a functional assessment that looks beyond the behaviour itself to understand what's driving it, including the environmental, personal, and contextual factors that shape daily experiences. This insight allows us to develop targeted, sustainable strategies that reduce the need for restrictive practices and build confidence, capability, and lasting change.
Each Behaviour Support Plan includes:
- Proactive implementation strategies
- Environmental design and modification
- Skills-building and teaching of replacement behaviours
- Clear escalation and crisis response protocols
We work closely with participants and their full support network, including families, carers, clinicians, and community providers, to ensure consistency and alignment across all settings.
Our PBS philosophy is grounded in respect, dignity, and collaboration. We believe that when people feel understood and supported, genuine growth and wellbeing follow.
All of our practitioners are qualified or completing tertiary degrees in fields such as Education, Counselling, Psychology, Mental Health, or Social Work. In line with NDIS Guidelines, every practitioner has completed the Suitability Assessment and holds a practitioner ID number, with ongoing supervision and reflective practice embedded in their professional development.
